Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) stops at the Custom House Hotel and offers direct access to the western entrance of the ExCeL conference centre, which is directly opposite the hotel.

The DLR provides direct links to the London Underground network including: the Jubilee Line and Silverlink Mainline services at Canning Town station, District and Circle at Tower Gateway, Northern Line, Central, Waterloo and City, Circle and District Lines at Bank Station.

Silverlink Metro

The Silverlink train service operates between Richmond to North Woolwich via Kew, Acton, Willsden, Hampstead, Homerton, Stratford and Custom House for ExCeL. For further information about Silverlink trains contact 0845-6014867.

Eurostar

St. Pancras International is the terminus for the Channel Tunnel high-speed rail service. Kings Cross tube station is next door to St. Pancras International where you can get the Northern Line tube to London Bridge station. The Jubilee Line Extension links London Bridge station to Canning Town in 14 minutes. The journey to Custom House Hotel can then be completed by DLR to Custom House for ExCeL.

By Car

The hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. We are also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country.

From the M25 NORTH

At Junction 27 follow the M11 towards London City.

On the M11, exit at the Junction 4 onto the A406 (towards Ilford, Barking and Excel).

Once you have past Ilford and Barking, you will arrive at a huge roundabout. Follow the A1020 in the direction of London City Airport/ExCeL.

Pass Gallions roundabout, the Docklands Campus and the Regatta Centre and from there on, follow the signs to Custom House/Canning Town.

This will take you to Victoria Dock Road and the hotel will be on your right hand side, opposite the ExCeL and the Docklands Line Railway. For Car Park, turn right at the traffic lights, then right again; entry has red and white barrier.

From the M25 SOUTH

At Junction 30 take the A13 towards London City.

Once you arrive at the huge roundabout, follow the directions as stated above.

From Stanstead M11

Exit at the Junction 4 onto the A406 (towards Ilford, Barking and Excel).

Once you have passed Ilford and Barking, you will arrive at a huge roundabout. From here, follow the directions as stated above.

Bus 147

Ilford to Canning Town stopping at: Browning House, East Ham, Upton Park, Prince Regent Lane (for Prince Regent station), Custom House for ExCeL, Royal Victoria, Keir Hardie Estate, Canning Town.

Bus 241

Stratford to Canning Town, stopping at: Plaistow, New Barn Street, Freemasons Road, Custom House for ExCeL, Keir Hardie Estate, Canning Town.

Bus 325

East Beckton to Prince Regent Bus Station stopping at: East Beckton, Newham Town Hall, East Ham, Green Street, West Ham Park, Barking Road, Custom House Station, Prince Regent Bus Station.

Bus 473- Stagecoach

Stratford to North Woolwich, stopping at: Plaistow, Victoria and Albert Docks (for Prince Regent station), London City Airport, Silvertown, North Woolwich. By Direct access to a dual carriageway connects the new international exhibition centre with the national motorway network, the West End and the City.

Bus 678

St George's Road towards Beckton Bus Station stopping at: St George's Road, West Ham Park, Terrace Road, Newham Way, Custom House Station, Beckton Park Station, East Ham Manor Way, Beckton Bus Station.

London City Airport

Adjacent to the Custom House Hotel and ExCeL conference centre is Europe's leading airport dedicated to the business traveller.

With 'check in' and 'check out' times of less than 10 minutes and situated less than 5 minutes from Custom House and ExCeL's main western entrance, LCA could not be better located.
