Capstan Conference Centre
The Custom House Hotel provides an ideal conference centre in the Docklands, London. Choosing the right hotel for your business conferencing needs can prove difficult and no matter whether your choice is location or cost driven, the Custom House Hotel provides both competitive pricing together with a great location; just opposite the ExCeL conference centre. The Capstan Function Rooms consist of four adaptable rooms, all equipped with air-conditioning and adjustable lighting. The two larger rooms are fitted with state of the art audio and visual equipment, including a built-in LCD projector and dropdown screen, VHS, CD and DVD players.
Three of the rooms have natural daylight and are situated at street level with disabled access to all areas.
If you require a larger space, the rooms can be combined (see table below) and will hold up to 275 people for a cocktail reception or a banquet suite for up to 156 people incorporating the Silver Bar - ideal for weddings, special celebrations or conferences.
As you can see on the floor plan, the function rooms have their own toilet facilities and kitchen, which means that everything is close at hand.
A Business centre with secretarial services is also available, as well as an optional dance floor. Our banqueting rooms are ideal for your Office Christmas Party.
Silver Bar
In conjunction with the meeting rooms, there is the Silver Bar. The Silver Bar has a modern feel and is surrounded by glass, which allows for a natural atmosphere day or night.
As day turns to night, the soft lighting creates a warm ambience giving our guests a feeling of comfort combined with the contemporary.

The conference area can be retained as FOUR individual suites for smaller business events or transformed into one larger space
